What We Do
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a natural healing practice that involves applying pressure to specific areas on the feet, hands, or ears to promote physical and emotional well-being. It is based on the belief that these areas correspond to different parts of the body.
What is acupressure?
Acupressure is a therapeutic technique that involves applying pressure to specific points on the body to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. It is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles and is believed to help restore the balance of energy flow in the body.
How long is a typical reflexology or acupressure session?
A typical session at our clinic can range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. However, the duration may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences. Our therapists will discuss with you the recommended session length during your consultation.
Is reflexology or acupressure painful?
Both reflexology and acupressure are generally not painful. The pressure applied during the session should be firm but comfortable. You may experience some sensitivity in certain areas, but it should not be painful. Our therapists will always prioritize your comfort throughout the session.
Are there any side effects or precautions to consider?
Reflexology and acupressure are considered safe and gentle therapies. However, it is important to inform your therapist about any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or allergies to ensure that the treatment is tailored to your specific needs. Some people may experience temporary relaxation or mild soreness after a session.
